The first being the actual surface finish of the part. We have a multitude of processes at our disposal to create the exact surface finish that our customer is looking for.

All are used to create different levels of matt finish as well as deburring edges on parts. Our Finishing department is skilled at creating grained look finishes. We use surface profilometers and gauges to measure roughness and grit blasted profiles to ensure the process meets the job requirements. Once the correct surface finish is achieved, applying a coating or plating type of protectant finish may be specified.
We handle all types of wet mil-spec paints, as well as powdercoat finishes. We handle most plating on metal surfaces including all types of anodizing, including Type 3 hard coat, Chemfilm (Chromate), Electroless Nickel, Zinc, and Teflon. We also perform Citric acid passivation and prefer this method to nitric acid due to it being a more environmentally friendly process.
