ASSEMBLY OF PIECE PARTS AND SYSTEMS
JET HELSETH has a fully equipped and staffed Assembly Department handling sub-assembly through complete assembly of piece parts and systems, with operations that include epoxy bonding, mechanical insert installation, rivet installation, bushing, pin, lube and grease operations, and mechanical assembly.
- Assembly of multiple parts into a single assembly part number
- Dip Brazing of multiple aluminum parts into a single structure
JET HELSETH does all their fixture and tooling design and build in house, and we are experienced with taking cumbersome precision parts and designing assembly processes and fixtures that achieve precision in the overall assembly. It’s one thing to assemble one or two top level assemblies by hand, but to assemble 100 or 1,000 precision assemblies, requires careful process planning, precision fixture design and build and testing.
Since the mid 1980’s the staff at JET HELSETH has been involved in manufacturing process R&D and machine design, both critically important to the success of today’s projects.
