JOB OVERVIEW AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Hard-working individual for our Finishing Department. In this role, you will be a valuable part of our production team, ensuring our production quotas are met in a timely fashion while observing the highest standards of safety and quality. You will need to be reliable and punctual, able to perform physical tasks that are repetitive, on a regular basis.
- Have at least 5yrs experience in using hand tools.
- Must have good hand-eye coordination.
- Clean, wash, and or blow off parts to prepare them for packaging.
- Deburr all sharp edges on parts utilizing the proper tools to create the chamfers or edge breaks called out on the drawings, or per Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP).
- Perform in-house painting operations.
- Assembly – Installation of helical and solid inserts, fasteners, pins, and assembly of mechanical piece parts as directed by job routers.
- Bonding – Epoxy or adhesive bonding assembly operations.
- Accurately complete all Router/Documentation with part counts and signoffs for jobs in the department.
- Use proper care in handling parts so as not to scratch or create surface damage to parts.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in the Department.
- Communicate with the Production Foreman about jobs preparing to come through the Department and plan for what tools/supplies/timing will be needed for those jobs.
- Coordinate with the Q.A. Department and Shipping Department about jobs moving through Finishing/Assembly to efficiently keep the job flow moving.
- Perform other duties on the production floor as assigned by JET Management.
- Forklift training may be requested by supervisor.
- All other duties as assigned by shift supervisor.
